MSU: Mesulumi Students’ Union has mourned the demise of Mesüte Letro, class 11 of Baptist College Kohima on March 11. A condolence message issued by the union described late Mesüte as an obedient student and his demise was a loss to the union. Union conveyed condolence to the bereaved family. Parliamentary secretaries: Parliamentary secretary for fisheries, RR and printing and stationary S. Heno, parliamentary secretary rural development & REPA S. Pangnyu Phom and Parliamentary secretary, Information and Public Relations, Economics and Statistics R Tohanba have mourned the demise of Narola Murry, mother of agriculture minister Dr. Chumben Murry. Both the parliamentary secretaries have conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members. Former NLA speaker: Former speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly and secretary general of NCP North East Neiba Ndang has expressed grief over the demise of Narola Murry, mother of state NCP president and minister for Agriculture Dr. Chumben Murry. Directorate of agriculture: Officers and staff of directorate of agriculture, Kohima have mourned the demise of Medothul, office peon under the directorate of agriculture on March 13 and Narola Murry, mother of minister of for agriculture, Dr. Chumben Murry on March 15. NPC Wokha: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Wokha has condoled the demise Narola Murry, mother of state NCP president and minister for agriculture , Dr. Chumben Murry who passed away on March 15 at Kohima after a prolong illness. Minister for Education: Minister for School Education & SCERT, Nyeiwang Konyak has expressed sorrow over the demise of Narola Murry, mother of minister for Agriculture, Dr. Chumben Murry. Describing her as a God fearing and beloved mother who was a source of inspiration to her dear ones, Nyeiwang Konyak and his wife conveyed condolence to members of the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty to grant them courage, strength and fortitude to overcome their personal loss. NDA,Wokha DBs: Nagaland Dobashis’ Association (NDA) has condoled the demise of Rushanthung Lotha, 1st Grade DB of Deputy Commissioner Office Wokha who passed away on March 16. Describing his demise as a great loss to the association, NDA further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. Meanwhile, DBs of Wokha district have also mourned the demise of Rushanthung Ezung, senior 1st Grade DB DC Office Wokha. Kyong Eloe Hoho: Kyong Eloe Hoho has conveyed condolence to bereaved family members of Late Khodao Yanthan who passed away in his native village Lakhuti. KEH in a condolence message stated ‘rich legacy of his patriotic zeal and ideas’ he left behind would be cherished by the coming generations of Nagas. CANSSEA: Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA), Dimapur unit has condoled the demise of its former vice president S.N. Sema (Alfred), joint director Agriculture on February 12. The unit has further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. FGN: Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has expressed shock over the demise of Brig. (Retd) Keviselie who passed away on March 16 at his native home, Urra village, Angami region. Conveying condolences to the bereaved family and relatives, Gen.(Retd.) Viyalie Metha, Kedahge, FGN stated that Keviselie joined national defense Service in 1956 and served with faith and integrity till he was released from Naga Army on June 20, 2006 due to ill- health and advanced age. He also undertook of Alee Command to East Pakistan (Bangladesh) in 1963-1964. FGN also expressed that it was a great loss and irreparable damage for the nation and communities adding that his patriotic deed and true sacrifice for the nation would always remain in the history of the nation.
