Free medical camp held in Medziphema

A free medical camp was organized at government high school in Medziphema town on Saturday with the voluntary participation of the private and governmental medical fraternity.
Free medicines were distributed with the kind assistance of Nagaland Medical Dealers Association. Chief medical officer and deputy CMO, Dimapur also assisted the malarial team from Dimapur, immunization and tuberculosis team from CHC, Medziphema, and medical superintendent with his dental Team.
More than 400 villagers from villages surrounding Medziphema town were benefited from the free medical camp besides the town dwellers.
Free medicated mosquito nets were also distributed to the needy people.
Meanwhile, the Indian Red Cross Society Dimapur branchhave expressed gratitude to to Dr.Alex Kithan, Dentist, Dr. Dipak Jain, Pediatrics, Dr. Dipika Jain, Dentist, Dr. Mhabemo Ovung, Dermatologist, Dr. Molu Jamir, Medical Officer, SASRD, NU, Medziphema, Dr. Sunapinla, Dentist & Dr. Rajni Sethi, Homeopathy for their voluntary services in the camp, head master, government high school, Medziphema for the volunteers and venue provided for the noble cause, SP, Dimapur for the Ambulance and security provided on the day, Om Prakash Sethi, members of Red Cross and each individuals and organizations who helped in making this project a grand success.
