Teachers training on pre-primer
KOHIMA: A teachers training on pre-primer in languages will be conducted by Central Institute of Indian languages, Mysore, from March 29-31 at ERBC L. Khel Kohima. All teachers-in charge of GPS under DIS Tseminyu have been informed to depute one teacher from each school to attend the training. The teachers have been asked to reach venue at 10 am on March 29.
ANSTA meeting
KOHIMA: Executive meeting of All Nagaland School Teachers Association will be held at LCS building near Ao Church Kohima on March 24, 10 am. All district units, sub units and members with suggestions and proposals have been invited to attend the meeting. Members have been asked to submit yearly membership.
Khuzami Chakhesang Bible release
KOHIMA: Khuzami Chakhesang Bible will be released on March 28 at 10 am at Chizami Baptist Church to be ministered by Rev Dr. V.K. Nuh, general secretary of CNBC. All Khuzami churches, ordained minister, pastors and well wishers have been invited to the programme.
WBC alumni Bible conference
DIMAPUR: Withee Bible College will be organizing Bible Conference for Alumni on the theme ‘Gospel in the Pentateuch’ from April 8 to 11, at the College premises. Resource speakers include Singapore, Malaysia, and from England. Westminister tradition would be sponsoring the conference.
ANCSU plea to resume classes
DIMAPUR: All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has appealed both Nagal and University Teachers Association and Vice Chancellor (VC) to resume its normal classes on or before March 29. ANCSU while reaffirming its earlier statement to extend support to genuine demands by the Post Graduate Students Union has cautioned that it would resort to any form of measure if ANCSU and VC failed to resume classes.
Vipassana meditation
DIMAPUR: Ten-day Vipassana Meditation Gypsy Camp would be held from April 1 to 12 at the premises of Scoiety of Dhamma Bodhi and Meditation, Dimapur. The training would be conducted by Acharya S. N Goenka, Vipassana Research Institute, Igatpuri, Maharashtra. Aspirants from the north east from the age group of 18 years and above have been requested to participate in the programme. Children’s course would also be held from April 13 to 15 at the premises of SDBM, Dimapur.
