Nagaland Governor, Nikhil Kumar will pay a two day visit to Mokokchung and Mopungchuket village on March 25 and 26. He will arrive at Mokokchung on March 25 in the afternoon. People of Mokokchung town will accord a civic reception at Town Hall on March 26 at 10 am.
According to an official bulletin, after the civic reception the Governor will have interaction with representatives of NGOs and government officials led by deputy commissioner, C.M. Tsanglao at the same venue. Thereafter he will visit Imkongliba Memorial Hospital, Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School and the proposed site of P. Shilu Park.
The Governor will then proceed to Mopungchuket at 1 pm the same day. During his stay at Mopungchuket village, he will visit traditional Morung, museum and Jena and Etiben tower. Meanwhile, the DC, Mokokchung, C.M. Tsanglao has directed all heads of offices and staff in Mokokchung town to be in station as the Governor was likely to visit some departmental offices. The DC also instructed all heads of offices and staff to attend the civic reception at 10 a.m. on March 26 at Town Hall.
