DTE issues JEE application forms

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has notified that prescribed application forms for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2009 for degree/diploma courses outside the state would be issued from April 1-30 at DTE Kohima, below New Secretariat Complex on payment of Rs.100 during office hours.
Last date for receiving completed form either by hand or post would be on May 4. In this regard, Additional Director & HOD, A. Kathipri has informed that students awaiting 10+2 results would also be eligible to apply, however selection would be subjected to obtaining requisite percentage of marks prescribed for courses and on submission of 10+2 mark sheet to directorate at least five days before selection is made by State Common Selection Board. Application form may also be downloaded at, in which case a fee of Rs.100 should be paid during the time of submission of form.
Meanwhile, all students under Dimapur district who have appeared 10+2 (Science stream) and are preparing for various JEE are requested to avail Crash course under “Tele-Education” project under Ministry of information Technology, government of India. The subjects covered under this project are physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology. Interested students have been requested to meet R. Amongla, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Nagarjan, Dimapur. The course would commence from March 25 till April 16.
