Shifting of NU Hq DIMAPUR: Shifting of Nagaland University headquarters from Kohima to Lumami, which was supposed to be effected by the month of February has been extended to April owing to closure of the financial year and other exigencies of work. In this regard, NU registrar, Dr. P. H. Naik has informed all concerned to make necessary preparatory works accordingly. Renewal of DMC registration certificate DIMAPUR: Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all the owners of handcart, cycle rickshaw, bi-cycle, trolly carts and all rickshaw driving licence holders that the renewal of DMC registration certificate or licence for the present year would commence from March 1. Informing this in a press note issued by Nikhashe Sema, chief executive officer DMC has also directed all responsible to renew their respective licences within March 31. Employment office shifted Dimapur: Office of the District Employment Officer, Dimapur Nagaland has been shifted to Super Market Complex, Dimapur. With regard to this, DEO Dimapur, C. Lotam Chang has informed those applicants desiring to register to contact the newly shifted office for registration. Training on office procedures DIMAPUR: Directorate of Evaluation (DoE) conducted a three day in-house training programme on office procedures, accounts and computer applications for officers, inspectors and ministerial staff from February 17-19 at DoE Kohima. The programme was organized with a view to update knowledge and improve efficiency of officers and staff. ATI lecturer, Er. W. Ezung; ATI faculty head, K. Semy; and IT & TE programme officer, Er. Sabou were resource persons at the programme. A total of 45 participants attended the training. Registration of societies in Zbto DIMAPUR: District Statistical Officer (DSO), Zunheboto has requested all the functioning societies under Zunheboto district who could not be contacted earlier to contact the office of DSO Zunheboto from March 8 to 12 during office hours. Further, the responsible societies have been requested to register under Home and Education Department before March. Informing this in a press note issued by Kulhiseo Khale, DSO Zunheboto has also stated that this is necessitated in order to furnish certain information’s required by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Central Statistical Organization, National Accounts Division, Government of India. Pork Butcher Union informs DIMAPUR: Pork Butcher Union (PBU) has informed that any pork butcher found selling the pork at higher rate and misusing weights, then the public have been informed to immediately contact the union president, Khevishe Chishi on 9612362412. Law examination results DIMAPUR: The provisional result of various law examinations of Nagaland University held in the month of September 2009 has been declared which includes results of II Semester (Regular/Repeaters), Regular, Repeaters (2008 batch), Repeaters (2007 batch), Repeaters (2006 batch), IV Semester (Regular/Repeaters), Regular, Repeaters (2007 batch), Repeaters (2006 batch), VI Semester (Regular/Repeaters), Repeaters (2006 batch), Repeaters (2005 batch) and Repeaters (2004 batch). This has been informed in a press note issued by Dr. Kiyasetuo, director CDC and Controller of Examination i/c. Change of ARO dispatch dates DIMAPUR: Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Rangapahar has informed the candidates who were provisionally selected into the Indian army and had been issued call-up letters from ARO, Rangapahar that there is a change to the dispatch dates. In a press note issued by N.K. Sharma, Lt Col officiating director recruitment has stated that the candidates scheduled for dispatch on March 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22 and 23 will now be dispatched on March 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30 and 31 respectively. Further, candidates have been requested to report to the ARO, Rangapahar by 7am on the revised dates and that there is no change to other instructions given in the call up letter. Meanwhile, the candidates have been requested to contact ARO, Rangapahar on 03862-249080 from 11am to 1pm for more details and queries if any. NPF 30 Alongtaki A/C informs DIMAPUR: Nagaland People’s Front (NPF) 30 Alongtaki A/C has informed that the Nagaland government servants in their respective departments posted at Japukong range headquarter Longchem have been found neglecting their official duties thereby impeding proper functioning of official matters and neglecting public services. In a press note issued by Imlitemsu, president NPF 30 Alongtaki A/C has directed all the officers to stay in their respective posted places from March 1 and that inefficient staffs or officers would be treated according to the resolution adopted on February 5 and further strong action would be initiated against them.
