JPWC constituted

In accordance with the decision taken during the joint sitting of the members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on November 26, 2006, a Joint Parliamentary Working Committee (JPWC) has been constituted Tuesday with 20 members and one convenor. The committee would have its first meeting on March 22 at 2 p.m at the official residence of NLA speaker. The members include; NLA speaker, Kiyanilie Peseyie as convenor and 20 other as members - Neiphiu Rio, chief minister; Tokheho Yepthomi, opposition leader; Khekiho Zhimomi, M.P. Rajya Sabha; C.M. Chang, M.P. Lok Sabha; T. R. Zeliang, minister; K.L. Chishi, MLA; S.I. Jamir, MLA; Dr. Shurhozelie, minister; K.V. Pusa, MLA; Kuzholuzo Nienu, minister; Dr. Chumben Murry, minister; I. Imkong, MLA; Imkong L. Imchen, minister; H. Chuba Chang, MLA; G. Kaito, minister; Pangnyu Phom, parliamentary secretary; Kipili Sangtam, MLA; P. Longon, minister; Chingwang Konyak, MLA and Neiwang Konyak, minister. This was contained in a statement issued by NLA speaker.
