NCF Chennai observe 25th anniversary

The Naga Christian Fellowship Chennai (NCFC) celebrated its 25th years of existence on the theme “Declare His Faithfulness” on February 28, with more than 800 people including delegates from different parts of India like Shillong, Guwahati, Itanagar, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mysore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmednagar, Dehra Dun, Vellore, Salem, Kanchepuram, Pondicherry, Nagaland, Manipur, etc. and also guests from other countries. Silver Jubilee program started at 11 a.m with Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung, general secretary, NBCC who officially opened the silver jubilee celebration and Wapangtoshi Longkumer Pastor, NCFC welcomed the gathering. As the speaker Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung greeted and congratulated all the past and present NCFC members for coming together in fellowship for the past 25 years and growing towards unforeseen horizon of greater blessings in every way. P. C .Lallawmsanga IPS, ADGP, Tamil Nadu also exhorted the gathering and challenged “Indians are intelligent but we people from NE are nothing less than them in terms of talents and intellect”. Greetings were also delivered by past NCFC leaders like Er. Moa Aier, Rev. Vangpong Phom, General Secretary, NCRC and NCF Pastors. Meanwhile, Avika Sumi was installed as Naga pastor of Vellore by NMM. Highlights of the programme included special numbers by NCFC silver jubilee music team and Mizo welfare association Chennai, special program based on skits, choreography, songs, etc. The evening program started at 5:15 pm with Wabang Moa, ex-secretary, NCFC and Rev. Dr. Ricky Medom, pastor, NCF Delhi. Special songs were presented by Korean Church Chennai, NCFC Silver Jubilee Music Team and Sunday School children. Rev. Wati Longkumer,Director NMM was the speaker of the evening program.
