YBC buffet postponed DIMAPUR: Yimchungru Baptist Church (YBC) has informed that buffet scheduled on March 6 has been postponed to April 8. Youth director, YBC has requested all responsible individuals to note the changes and has further highly regretted for the inconvenience caused. DDC plea to appoint CPO DIMAPUR: The Dimapur district co-operators has appealed the government to depute Chief Project Officer (CPO) to efficiently utilize the money allotted for Dimapur district under ICDP scheme. The association further expressed gratitude to the government for allotting sufficient funds for the district under the programme. Arms license verification in Dimapur DIMAPUR: The license holders of prohibitory arms namely 0.38 pistol/revolver, 303 rifle, 9 mm pistol/revolver and other prohibitory arms have been informed to submit arms license to office of deputy commissioner Dimapur for verification of licenses within 10 days from the date of publication of this notice. Deputy commissioner, Dimapur Maongwati Aier in a notification stated that failing to submit the arms license would attract disciplinary action as per provision of arms. SRSU combine meeting DIMAPUR: Combined emergency meeting of Satoi Range Student Union (SRSU) and vigilance committee of SRSU would be held on March 7, 2 p.m. at the residence of Phushika Aomi, former president NSF, Thilixu block IV.All SRSU executives and the Vigilance committee members have been requested to attend the meeting. Dimapur Highway Area Sumi Students Union DIMAPUR: Meeting of Dimapur Highway Area Sumi Students Union (DHASU) has been convened on March 6, 10 a.m. All executive members andunit president have been informed to attend the meeting. HRUD general meeting DIMAPUR: Hoshepu Range Union Dimapur has convened a general meeting on March 13, 10 a.m. at the residence of its Banker G.Ikuto Zhimomi in Thilixu village for which, all members have been requested to attend the meeting. Trained Nurses Association of India DIMAPUR: Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) would be celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8, 9 a.m. at the auditorium district hospital Dimapur. Resource persons would speak on the topic Ante-Natal Care, HIV and AIDS and immunization. Viswema Kuda Union meeting DIMAPUR: Meeting of Viswema Kuda Union (VKU) has been convened on March 8, 4 p.m. at the residence of Vizokhol Angami, Kirha village to deliberate on the forthcoming general meeting and picnic programme. All VKU members, office bearers, advisors and area representatives have been informed to attend the meeting. DDGBA membership DIMAPUR: Dimapur District GBs Association (DDGBA) has informed all the government appointed GBs under Dimapur district to deposit membership fees of rupees one hundred for the present year on or before May 30. M.Y. Ngullie, president and T. Onen Jamir, general secretary DDGBA has requested all the GBs to submit membership fees to following district unit office bearers as for Niuland area- Phushito Zhimomi, GB vice president; Kuhuboto area-Zheshito, GB joint secretary; Medziphema and Chumukedima area-Salie, GB vice president; Dhansiripar area-K. Kekiye, GB joint secretary finance and for GB union Dimapur (Sadar)- Japan, GB treasurer. Mokokchung DPDB meeting DIMAPUR: Meeting of Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) on Monday has been convened on March 8, 11 a.m. at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall. All heads of offices have been informed to attend the meeting. RSU seminar on career guidance Kohima : The Rachii Students Union (RSU) , Viswema will organize a one-day seminar on career guidance on March 13 starting 10.00 am at Rachiimi Panchayat building. The resources persons for the seminar will be Dr. Tsilhoutuo Rhiitso, General Surgeon , District Hospital Wokha and Dr. Hovithal Sothu associate professor , ATI Kohima. All students who appeared the 2010 HSLC exam and also those students studying in classes 9 and 10 in the current year are informed to attend the seminar without fail. New SJP youth wing president DIMAPUR: Socialist Janata Party, national vice president I.S. Akhei Achumi has appointed Jolling Sangtam as the new president of Youth Wing to strengthen the party. Vice-president also directed the incumbent to take over his assignment at the earliest and also authorize him to organize the state unit.
