Notes of gratitude

NSCN: NSCN has expressed gratitude to Lotha Hoho Kohima, Tseminyü village, Lotha Hoho, Wokha, in showing their last respect to their leader late Khodao Yanthan, Vice Chairman,NSCN. According to Convener, funeral committee, Angnaikham Makunga when late Yanthan’s soul finally departed he was not left alone but young and old came out to the street to welcome the body. When the body was picked from Wokha town by official representatives of NSCN to be brought to Council Headquarters, Hebron for state funeral service a dignified reception awaited him at Deizephe village. Prior to the spot Kyong Nchumchio Okho, Dimapur paid their respect at Patkai Gate. The scene at Kohima capital reflected the departing body of late Khodao in the most colorful but subdued emotion when thousands of school and college students lined up the streets with candle lights organized by Angami Public Organization (APO) to get a glimpse of their leader. In Wokha town the same scene was witnessed where nearly four kms length of street were occupied by citizens of the town, organized by Lotha Hoho. Reception programs were also arranged at Yukhum village, Doyang village, Sanis villageYunchucho village, Sunglup village and his native village Lakhuti. NSCN has further thanked all organizations who bore the expense in giving a dignified sent off to the departed soul of late Khodao Yanthan. KDSSU: The Kohima District Sumi Students’ Union has expressed gratitude to Dr. K.C. Nihoshe, parliamentary secretary, Industries and Commerce for upgrading a full fledged district industries centre office in Kiphire. NCP: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Nagaland State unit has expressed gratitude to union minister, Human Resource Development, department of School Ecucation and Literacy government of India, KApil Sibal, director RMSA, K. Satish Nambudiripad, former Lok Sabha speaker P.A Sangma and NCP national general secretary, Neiba Ndang Zeliang former speaker Nagaland and NCP secretary general North-East in charge for taking measures in regard to development of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) at the central level and for the approval for the project to Nagaland. NCP has also thanked Nagaland state department in-charge minister education and SCERT, Nyeiwang Konyak and Robert Royte from Mizoram state for taking keen interest in the project.
