A five-day intensive training of trainers on Homeopathy for mother and child was held from February 23 to 27 at NHAK auditorium Kohima.
Commissioner and secretary health and family welfare Menukhol John exhorted the trainees on importance of healthy mother and child for a healthy society and role of homeopathy.
Resource persons for the occasion were obstetricians, pediatricians, gynecologists, dentists, psychiatrists and nutritionist from Naga Hospital and Homeopathic doctors from SN Homeopathic Medical College Guwahati.
The training included sessions on pregnancy, anti-natal care complaints and complications, normal labour and delivery, post natal care complaints and complications, lactations, childhood diseases and psychiatric problems, dental problems, nutrition, first aid and homeopathic management. 24 doctors from different districts participated and concluded with Dr. V Sekhose principal director Health and family welfare as chief guest.
