64 cataract patients operated in Noklak

An eye camp was conducted by the Health & Family Welfare Department at Noklak. The event was sponsored by Mothers Union Noklak from March 2 to 7. Altogether 64 cataract cases were operated, while 6 minor surgeries were also conducted and including 346 OPD cases. Dr. T. Kushio, Dr. Imna Pokim, Dr. Asonla Chang were the eye surgeons who were assisted by staff nurses and ophthalmic assistant from Mokokchung District Hospital and Tuensang Hospital. Meanwhile, president, Khiamnuingan Tribal Council has expressed profound gratitude to the Health & Family Welfare department and Dr. Thanghoi, Deputy CMO Tuensang, for conducting the eye camp.
