Responding to the NPF statement that it had replied and explained the subject matter brought up by the Congress in the assembly, the NPCC pointed out that opposition party had the responsibility and it was the duty for them to keep the issues alive repeatedly for the interest of the people, till issues were brought to logical ends.
The NPCC general secretary (media), Vaprumu Demo in a press statement said that it was high time the NPF should kick the habit of calling the Congress ‘frustrated’ which was unbecoming and highly irresponsible of a political party in power.
It further said that the issues on bogus teachers’ appointment, 6th RoP and various charges on scams and corruptions did not end with Assembly discussion or debate.
“It is unfortunate that the NPF thinks the two MPs represent the NPF party and not the people of Nagaland in the Parliament and that, they are there to promote the NPF ideology” the NPCC stated.
It also stated that NPF talked so high of the two MPs’ participation in parliamentary discussions and all party meetings and that Naga people had the right to know the details of their participations till date that they are contribution something and not ‘holidaying in Delhi’ as many believed. On ceasefire and political talks at the highest level, NPCC charged the NPF to spell out clearly as to what role it had been playing as active facilitator to convince the non-negotiating parties to support ongoing talk or negotiating parties to wait for all Nagas to unite and talk in one voice.
