AYO new president takes charge

The new team of Angami Youth Organization (AYO) under the leadership of Khrielevi Chüsi as President took office for the tenure 2010-2013 on Wednesday.
A formal function of handing and taking over was held on Wednesday at Hotel Japfu in presence of Angami Public Organization (APO) , Angami Women Organization, Angami Sports Association (ASA) and Angami Students Union(ASU) and senior leaders.
Accepting the new assignment, AYO President Khrielevi Chüsi said it was a big responsibility for him and his team. He also called upon the people for active support and cooperation and assured that the new team would do its best for the society.
In his address Outgoing President Kezhazer Angami said that according to record the AYO was established in 1991 and informed that his team was inducted on October 26, 2006 and thanked the APO, AWO, ASU, region units of AYO and all well wishers for the support during their tenure.
Brief reports of AYO tenure 2006-2009 were presented by out going AYO general secretary and outgoing Treasurer Kikhrühol Mekro.
Meanwhile the nomination committee announced team of AYO for the tenure of 2010-2013 with Kekhrievolie Keyho as vice president, Er. Neisavotuo Sachii as general secretary, Rünavilhou Kin- (Administration), Puthuto Natso -Jt secy (Organization), Vizoto Kin –treasurer, Neizolie Riipreo –finance secretary, Vipel Thaprü- secy research & Analysis, Neibou Rio –secy games and sports, Aja Zinyü- secy information & press, Sarovi Secü- secy art & culture, Khrielie Kielienyü- secy protocol and public relations, Ketousilie Sakhrie –secy environment, NininoAngami– secy women affairs, Dzüzienuo Pfüsenuo –secy library & properties, Dr. Kevi Rio- auditor general and Kezhazer Angami –advisor.
Earlier, the function was chaired by outgoing Vice president Vikeo-o Zashümo, invocation prayer by Kethosetuo Nagi, pastor Calvary Baptist Church Jotsoma, special number by Visetuo and Kenie and the vote of thanks was delivered l by Ninino Angami, secretary library and properties.
