Clarifications on ‘ghost’, bogus teachers

Reacting to the news on ‘ghost teacher’ at Zukihe village issued by Zukihe village education committee (ZVEC), graduate teacher Vihepu Yeptho has clarified that he was serving as graduate teacher of Government Middle School Zuheshe and not a ‘ghost’ teacher of Zukihe GPS as alleged by ZVEC.
USU: Usutomi Students’ Union (USU) has clarified that there was no teacher by the name Khehoshe bearing 763 categorised under absentee teacher at GPS Usuto. The union and VEC stated that it had never known the existence of such a teacher in the school and such appointment was done without the knowledge of village authority and VEC.
AVC: Akhoya village council (AVC) and Akhoya GPS education committee clarifying to education department and SIT report stated that Yarenlemla P/T GPS was not a teacher of GPS Akhoya, Tienla Panger P/T GPS Akhoya and Tiakumzuk P/T GPS Akhoya were appointed against the post vacated by S. Panger P/T GPS Akhoya and K. Imsunungsang P/T GPS Akhoya respectively.
LSU: Lazami Students’ Union (LSU) has clarified that there was no person by the name Botovi Sumi Swu, primary teacher under GPS Laza Izhuqa categorized under Genuine Teachers list. LSU in a press release that drawing salary without dispensing duty was a crime and deserved to be punished. Union urged the authorities to either terminate or direct the person in question to immediately join the school.
