Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Balraj Singh said school played a very important role in building up a child and that a child could be measured by his or her results.
He said school should provide more than education and needed to concentrate on building up a child or a student’s emotional, spiritual and physical personality.
He also stressed that school and parents should make the child strong enough to face the life and its challenges and added that only academic qualification will not help and might lead to failure sooner or later.
The chief guest while appreciating the school authority for the achievements also urged the principal to correct the faults occurred in today’s programme and keeps this in mind in near future. It may be mentioned that the programme had been extended beyond time and also faced with technical problem in the sound system, on which the Brigadier said the authority should correct this and most importantly should focus on punctuality.
