R. Tohanba inaugurates GMS at Y/Aunru village

The Government Middle School at Y/Aunru village was inaugurated by parliamentary secretary for information and public relations, economics and statistics, R. Tohanba on April 17.
Speaking at the inauguration, Tohanba urged the people of Y/Aunru to maintain peace and tranquility in the community for all round development.
He also encouraged the people to look after the school with sincerity and dedication and provide quality education to the children.
According to an official bulletin, the parliamentary secretary also requested the teachers to perform their duties with dedication so that their contribution will bring a good name to the school and advised the teachers to maintain professional ethic in discharging their duties.
He also highlighted various developmental activities that the state government was undertaking under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio and also informed that the government has declared 2010 as the Year of Entrepreneurship.
Earlier the programme began with an invocation by church secretary YBC, welcome speech was delivered by head GB, introductory speech was delivered by DIS Shamator, special number by CYE and Thruntenluntsun Club, short speeches was delivered by ADC Shamator, VEC Chairman and DEO Tuensang. The programme was chaired by Teacher Incharge GPS Y/Aunru village, K. Kiupangba.
R. Tohanba also visited Chassir village and Mulangkiur village and interacted with the village council and general public to highlight the programme and policy of DAN government.
The parliamentary secretary was accompanied by ADC Shamator, DEO Tuensang, BDO Chessore Block, DIO Shamator, DSO Tuensang, IA Tuensang, SDAO Shamator, DMA SSA team Tuensang, secretary NPF Nagaland, Rokiumong, president youth wing, NPF Tuensang division, party officials and public leader.
