Training for SHGs
DIMAPUR: DRDA Dimapur will be organising capacity building training in ‘Maintenance of accounts, records of SHGs’ on April 22, 10 a.m at IMC Hall Fellowship colony Dimapur. Group leader and secretary of SHGs who had been assisted under SGSY during 2008-09 and 2009-2010 hav ebeen requested to attend the meeting. Cash book, loan register, ledger register and individual pass books would be issued to the SHGs at the training.
BLO asked to furnish contact numbers
DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Bei-u Angami has notified to furnish mobile numbers of the officials who have been appointed as Booth Level Officers (BLO) under the concerned department/jurisdiction to office of DC, Kohima on April 28.
DIS Ahgunato and Pughoboto to form sub-units
DIMAPUR: All Nagaland School Teacher’s Association (ANSTA)Zunheboto unit has resolved that teachers under DIS Aghunato and Pughoboto would be permitted to form their sub-unit for whihch, the unit has directed both Ahgunato and Pughoboto to form sub-unit on the month of July and intimate to the president ANSTA Zunheboto unit at phone number 9436245757 and 9863631562. The unit in into meeting on April 17 also resolved to collect membership and welfare fund for the current year. Members of ANSTA have directed all teachers to submit the membership on first week of May.
GSU jubilee
KOHIMA: Ghukiye Students Union, golden jubilee planning board, has informed all its members to submit theme for the ensuing golden jubilee programme before April 30 to the chairman or secretary (09436440563/ 09402000866).
CTA session
KOHIMA: The 33rd session of Chakhesang Theological Association will be held from April 23-25 at Naga United Village Baptist Church under the theme “the cost of discipleship”. Speakers for the session will be Rev. Vezopa Tetseo, Rev. Dr. N. Chiero; Rev.Dr. Coppe Mero; Rev.Dr. Zeilhou keyho and Rev.Dr. Razouselie Lasetso, while Dr. Yiepetso Wezah and Dr. C. Cho-o will lead Bible Exposition. The association has requested all pastors, associate pastors, theological graduates, students under Chakhesang Baptist Church Council and other well wishers to attend the session and also pray for its success.
CRPO dissolved
DIMAPUR: Chukitong Range Public Organisation (CRPO) has been dissolved on April 17 for the interest of the public. Informing this in a press release, Chairman Land settlement board Chukitong Range Wokha N. Kikon said CRPO was dissolved at a meeting on April 17 which was attended by Chukitong Range Board consisting of six villages namely Chukitong, Tsungiki, Koio, Nungying, Seluku and Mungya. The meeting was also attended by the council chairmen of all six villages.
Verification of teachers in Wokha
DIMAPUR: Special Verification Committee headed by DC Wokha will be conducting physical verification of bogus, doubtful and absent teachers under Wokha district on April 22, 9:30 DC’s office chamber. All teachers have been directed to submit documents including transfer orders and appointment orders in original with two passports.
Aggrieved Teachers Association Nagaland
DIMAPUR: Emergency meeting of all Aggrieved Teachers Association Nagaland (ATAN) has been convened on April 23, 2 p.m at town hall Dimapur. Aggrieved members of all disctirt who do not coincide woth the Special Verification Committee (SVC) have been requested to contact at 9862624756, 9856586082. Meanwhile, condemning the SVC officials for alleged “high handedness” towards teachers in Peren, the association has demanded apology from the officials.
