DIMAPUR, APR 20 (NPN): With the expiry of deadline served to the government, the Western Sumi students’ union (WSSU) has resolved to stage first phase of agitation from Apr 27 by transporting students along with study materials form all the affected schools, under its area, to school education directorate. This would to be followed by Dimapur bandh. The union Monday informed that it had served Apr 20 as deadline to state government for neglecting students of government schools under its area, ever since the publication of SIT report. A WSSU ultimatum, singed by its president Daniel. H. Sumi and speaker Abeto Swu, addressed to chief minister, pointed out that its earlier representation to CMO dated Apr 13 was ignored without any response, which it described was unfair in dealing with thousands of affected students. WSSU said that “in the interest of saving humanity from being ruined further” it has resolved to take up democratic steps to draw government’s attention w.e.f Apr 27 till “life career” of those students restored.
