Thüvopisümi Welfare Board (TWB) would organize a felicitation programme for Rev. Dr. Phuveyi Dozo on May 2, 10am at Thüvopisümi Baptist Church in recognition of his achievements in the field of church ministry. Rev. Dr. P. Dozo has been associated with honorary services in both state and national levels and served as Nagaland Missionary Movement chairman (1980-88), India Church Growth Association chairman (1986-1990) and Indian Institute of Missiology chairman (1994-97). He is also the founder of Missiological Research Centre Dimapur, United Himalayan Missions New Delhi and Great Commission Kids Academy Dimapur. ‘Growth of the Chakhesang Naga Baptist Church’, ‘Crossover Nagaland’, ‘Hill Tribes Now for Tribes in India’, ‘From Nagaland to Himalayan Tribes’, ‘Gospel in Southeast Asia’ (in Angami), and ‘Stewardship of Time’ are some of the books written by him. TWB convenor, Chokriveyi Venyo has informed that the programme was being initiated to acknowledge Rev. Dr. P. Dozo’s services to the community and society, and on his completion of PhD recently with dissertation on ‘Contextualization of Mission Leadership’ from Bethany International University, Singapore under Council of Higher Education, Zurich.
