Country’s leading Telecom services provider Bharti Airtel today launched its ‘Live Aarti’ service, which will allow customers to listen to live prayers on their mobile phones from revered shrines spread across the country. Users can now listen to live Pujas and Aartis from Tirupati Balaji, SiddhiVinayak, Shirdi Sai Baba and Bangla Sahib shrines through the Live Aarti service, a company statement said.
Subscribers will have to pay a one-time membership fee of Rs five and a daily subscription fee of Rs two per shrine to avail the service, it added.
“Airtel continues to innovate and bridge barriers through technology. Airtel Live Aarti is yet another initiative in this direction. Devotees across India can now listen to live Aartis from some of the holiest places of worship in India. This is a great demonstration of how technology can bridge physical distances and bring experiences - emotional and spiritual - on the mobile at the click of a button,’’ said Company Director (Marketing-Mobile Services) Shireesh Joshi.
