Khezhienuomia Youth Organisation (KYO) on Monday tendered “unqualified apology” to Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) for summoning ENSF officials before D. Khel council hall, Kohima village February 16 last “within 48 hours.”
In a letter addressed to ENSF president, the KYO president Kikrulhoulie Khezhie said that initially the organisation was annoyed, when the ENSF not only blacklisted its member but also used “unqualified words.”
Recalling what “compelled” it to summon ENSF, the KYO president said it had observed that ENSF as, a students’ organisation, was not authorized to blacklist someone and also using such language had put its member’s “life at threat.”
Also, clarifying that it had summoned members of ENSF with “good intention” of getting clarified, the KYO said it had “never mentioned or gone beyond the summoned deadline,” adding that it had no other agenda.
The KYO stated that as advised by Angami Public Organisation (APO), to withdraw their summon letter, it has “without any hesitation or condition tender our sincere apology and regret to the ENSF.”
The KYO said it looked forward to the ENSF as a matured organisation to understand its sentiments and position and accept its sincere apology and at the same time reciprocate in positive manner.
Further, the KYO assured their “fullest cooperation” to ENSF and also to uphold “our brotherhood” with sincerity and commitment in future.
