The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), a national institute under the ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India has organized a two weeks entrepreneurship development programme for PMEGP beneficiaries at IIE state office, Duncan Bosti Dimapur from March 30. The programme was sponsored by office of the Khadi and Village Industry Commission, Dimapur where more than 25 participants belonging to schedule tribe category joined attended the programme..
The inauguration programme was graced by I. Athuba Lusang, assistant director KVIC Dimapur as guest of honour who dwelt on the viability of the programme especially of the ethnic northeast and encouraged the entrepreneurs as well as the artisans to capitalize their capacity through this programme. Athuba also highlighted the importance of the programme and expectation from the participants and further explained about the various government schemes and various business opportunities in Nagaland.
According to Pranjal Kr. Das, PIO IIE, the programme has been organized to create opportunity by teaching new business policy, marketing linkage, getting trade license, technical support and awareness on the importance and feasibility on different types of business.
