Temjenchuba awarded Sena medal

N K Temjenchuba of 59 Rashtriya Rifles Bn (Assam) presently posted in Jammu & Kashmir has been awarded ‘Sena Medal’ (Gallantry) for exceptional courage shown by his deed during the course of operation against terrorists in extremely rugged terrain in Jammu & Kashmir.
He is one among the three recipients of the same award announced during the last Republic day and the medal will be handed over to them officially on the occasion of the Independence Day celebration this year.
NK. Temjenchuba SM is the son of Imtimaong of Asangma village under Mokokchung district. He joined the Indian army in 1997. This SM award has been conferred for displaying exceptional courage grit and determination in the face of hostile terrorists while operating in the rugged terrain. The awardee will also get some benefits from the state government.
