NSCN (I-M): NSCN (I-M) has mourned the demise of ‘Sergeant’ Hopongkiu Janger bearing Army number AB-11939, Sangphur village YMC region of GHQ and attached to ‘joint operation’, Naga Army on March 29 at Diphupar B, Dimapur. In a condolence note issued by ‘Major General’ M Joshua adjutant general has expressed that the deceased would be remembered and cherished. Further the Naga Army saluted in paying homage to the departed soul has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family.
DSSU: Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has mourned the demise of Khukiye G. Swu, former general secretary DSSU on March 29. The union in a condolence stated that late Khukiye was a sincere and dedicated person who rendered tireless services to the union and also contributed a lot time for the welfare of the society and moreover his death was a great loss for the Sumi community as well as for the Naga society.
ACCC Pughoboto: The ACCC Pughoboto and public leaders have mourned the demise of Khukiye G. Swu of Ghokimi village under Pughoboto sub-division, Zunheboto district on March 29. In a condolence note has stated that late Khukiye was a dynamic and active student leader and had served in many organizations and unions on his own capacities. He also joined politics and held responsibilities in various posts and was also a government nominee under Pughoboto sub-division and president of GB association. ACCC Pughoboto further prayed that God grant comfort and solace to the bereaved family members.
CVSU: Chekiye Village Students’ Union (CVSU) has mourned the demise of Chekiye Zhimomi, head GB Chekiye village on March 18. The union has further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to grant them solace and strength to bear the loss.
