Duped on ‘April Fool’

A mobile recharge owner became a victim of April Fool’s Day when he lost his entire balance of Rs 16,000 from his Easy Recharge mobile after following the direction of a phony customer service agent of a private mobile service provider.
Recounting the episode, victim informed that he received a call informing him that he had received a bonus of Rs 2200 from the company. The caller then informed that he could avail the bonus, provided he cleared his entire existing balance and transfer the entire amount to 20 mobile numbers. When the bonus amount was not credited to his account, he frantically dialed the recharged mobile numbers but found out that the numbers were of Airtel Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand etc.
