Pandey holds meet

Interlocutor and government of India representative for the Naga peace talks and also former chief secretary of Nagaland, R. S. Pandey arrived Kohima Monday at around 1:40 pm on a 6-day visit to the state. Upon arrival, Pandey was learnt to have called on the state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio and later had a series of meetings with the civil societies. The centre’s interlocutor was also learnt to have held separate meetings with delegations of NBCC, NSF and NPMHR. On the second day, he is scheduled to hold series of consultative meetings with different organizations and civil societies. Pandey, who was accompanied by wife is scheduled to stay in the state capital for two days before departure for Mon on Wednesday to participate in the Mon Road Show cum Aoleang Festival. From Mon, he is scheduled to return to Dimapur on April 8 and halt there till his departure on April 10. (Correspondent )
