It pointed out that ADC HQ Tseminyu was one of the oldest but was still yet to function full fledged for which the people were not able to derive any benefit as the ADC has no power to take any decision but to refer to Deputy Commissioner Kohima.
Further, it stated that Tseminyu sub-division is larger than some two assembly constituency in the state and perhaps the largest tribal assembly constituency.
While many sub-division were upgraded to District and ADC headquarter, yet Tseminyu sub-division had been neglected.
Further, the representation which was jointly signed by Rengma Educated Unemployed Union (REUU) President Tegibu Tep, Chief Organizer Achilo Thong and General Secretary Joseph Seb while stating that to become a full fledged district required at least two constituencies, it demanded that Tseminyu Sub-division be considered and treated as a mini district.
