Kosasanger 3rd Buba Sungpo Zunga (KSZ) of Chuchuyimlang celebrated its golden jubilee at Imlang Salang, Chuchuyimlang.
The main speakers for the occasion were Er. I. Tangit Jamir (Retd) Dimapur and S. Chuba Longkumer BDO Tening.
While Er I. Tangit dwelt on the topic “God’s providential guidance through 50 years”, S. Chuba BDO expounded on the topic “Life of an individual in the days to come”.
Chuba said origin and important thing in the world for civilization was life of an individual and pointed out that different life of individuals living under various social setups with certain ethics and norms was civilization.
While explicating that life of an individual in future was more important than that of the past and present, BDO said “about 90 percent depended on the life of an individual for peace, unity and prosperity in future”.
Chuba also explicitly opined that the life of an individual to live from better to best in future solely rest with self control. While stating that living with self control was difficult, he said life of an individual living under self control contributes for betterment of any society. In this regard, Chuba said such an individual could play a vital role both in church and politics without any controversy.
Reflecting on the topic BDO highlighted that individual in future was to make full selfless sacrifices for the benefit of others and the society by meticulously scheming with broad scope devoid of hindrances.
While stating that life was for future generation, Chuba interlaced biblical account “Jesus is the only way” with selfless individuals and said contemporary society needed such individuals with high caliber and self control to build a harmonious society in future. Others who spoke in the function included Tiameren, Tiasutsung, Er Sakolepden (Retd), Imkongtongdang Deacon and Rokurlepzuk Deacon. The business session was moderated by Chidenlemba, fishery officer, Dimapur. The overall session was presided over by office bearers including Tinunukshi, president, N. Imkong Pongen secretary and L. Yabang treasurer.
