NLA members to tour DHEP Doyang
DIMAPUR: The committee on public accounts, NLA under the chairmanship of Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire with MLA Nuklutoshi, MLA Vikho-o Yhoshu, MLA C. Kipili Sangatm, MLA Imkong, MLA Chingwang Konyak and MLA S.I Jamir will be undertaking internal study tour to DHEP, Doyang on May 13 for spot verification of the developmental activities of the project.
The committee will depart from Kohima at 7 a.m and reach Wokha at 9 a.m.
NSGEWA informs senior govt servants
DIMAPUR: All affected state government employees who were released from service with effect from October 31, 2009 till date under the Nagaland Retirement from public employment have been informed to submit their release order along with names, designation, date of birth, date of joining, enlistment in the service on May 5 to the office of Nagaland Senior Government Employees Welfare Association (NSGEWA) at Khonoma building, D’ Block Kohima.
NPC welcomes ceasefire extension
DIMAPUR: The Nagaland Peace Centre (NPC), Kohima welcoming the extension of ceasefire signed between Government of India and NSCN (K) said this would enable both the parties to hold peace talk to find out a negotiable solution to the age old political problem of the state.
A joint press statement issued by Lhusi Haralu, executive director and N. Theyo, chairman NPC Kohima expressed hope that government of India and NSCN (K) would be sincere to uphold ceasefire agreement in letter and spirit.
