Dmu Club enters new chapter

After extensive renovation works on the building and premises of Dimapur Club, the office bearers along with core member team held a meeting at the club to discuss various issues.
Addressing members, DC Dimapur and President of the Club Maongwati thanked members who had worked tirelessly to transform the looks of the club.He also briefed members about the project which the Club will undertake in providing a multi-utility centre at Dimapur. He said the project has already been approved in principle by the state chief minister Neiphiu Rio. The meeting also decided to revamp the Club’s membership by setting a time frame for renewal of membership. Both renewal and registration fees have also been enhanced as decided at the meeting.
It was also decided to open the club for members only and their families on Saturdays and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rights of admission would be restricted to members only on these two days.
Earlier Secretary of the Club Geoffrey Yaden briefed members about the Club’s affairs and decisions while treasurer U. S. Agarwalla presented the accounts of the Club.Those present also included Er.Shikato, Hocto IFS,Om Prakash Sethi, P.K.Jain and Chandu Agarwal.
