Rongmei Baptist Mission (RBM) of RBA Nagaland conducted a free medical camp in Chirakhwa Village, East Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh during the Mission Evangelistic Field Visit (MEFV) from April 22 to 25 led by Dr. Joy, Dy. Director, Family Welfare Nagaland, Dr. Alung Kamei, Private Clinic, Jalukie along with James Reamei, technician from Malaria department Jalukie, Lanrilung, compounder and two nurses. Around 609 people were treated in the two days camp and medicines were distributed to patients.
The church representatives conducted different activities in the open air, such as teaching songs to the kids and youngsters by the youth, tracts and Bible distribution, house visit, meeting with village leaders, healing and counseling to hundreds of people during the occasion.
The MEFV team comprised of 38 people represented from various churches.
In their mission, two families were cleansed by burning off the rituals’ tags and wreaths of the gods, 10 people got baptized and a new fellowship was introduced and dedicated by Pastor Namrong Pamei, president and first Holy Communion was conducted by Rev. H. M. Gonmei, executive secretary for new infant believing community.
