Naga Hoho has expressed its appreciation particularly to Angami Public Organization (APO) and Southern Angami Public Organization (SAPO) for extending “yeoman services” towards displaced persons from Mao Naga inhabited areas.
Naga Hoho president Keviletuo Kiewhuo, in a press note, also expressed gratitude to all the individuals and organizations who have been offering relief materials to “dislodge persons” since their encampment at Kisama. Also, the Hoho has thanked state government for “taking pains” towards shifting displaced persons to Kisama and providing basic human requirements at this hour of need.
Meanwhile, commenting on Th. Muivah’s visit to his native “after forty seven years of his struggle towards the cause of the Naga people”, the Naga Hoho said it was delighted over “sagacious wisdom” that was shared by Joint Working Group (JWG) of NSCN/GPRN, GPRN/NSCN and FGN supporting the visit of Th. Muivah to his birth place.
Whilst, also appreciating the joint declaration made by JWG over assault meted out to three Naga civil society leaders May 9 last by miscreants, the Naga Hoho “fervently” urged JWG to put into action of their solemn statement in letter and in spirit.
The JWG had declared “to cooperate in identifying, apprehending and to bring to justice those responsible for the assault, and not to defend or harbor the perpetrators”. Further, the hoho “earnestly” appealed the law enforcing agencies to nab the miscreants without further delay, considering that entire Naga civil society workers would be in danger even in future unless such menace was rooted out from “our land.”
