4 injured in buffalo attack

Four persons including two minor girls were injured when a wild buffalo charged them Friday morning in Tuensang.
The incident occurred when students of St. John school were observing sports week, sources said.
According to St. John school headmistress Sr. Tessia, the victims identified as one Sentiyangla of class III and Sangseyenla Chang of class I frightened by the sudden appearance of wild buffalo had ran into school compounded, however, the buffalo chased and trampled on them.
They were immediately admitted to Tuensang civil hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, on hearing the information, the police along with the public rushed the spot and killed the violent animal.
The identities of other two victims were not known till the time of filing this report.
