Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) Kohima conducted a seminar on Red Cross Movement for members of IRCS Longleng district branch on April 16 at PPC Hall, Longleng. DC & IRCS Longleng chairman, C.K. Nihekhu Sema graced the seminar and exhorted the gathering on honour and importance of being a Red Cross member. He also urged members to ‘step up’ enrollment of new members. Resource persons of the programme IRCSN MC member, Kholie Dolf and IRCSN APO, Lucy Merry delivered presentations on various topics including history of Red Cross Movement, Use & Misuse of Red Cross Emblem and Fundamental Principles. IRCSN general secretary, Zakie Kire and EAC Rhosietho Ngouri also spoke at the programme. A total of 51 members attended the seminar which included various heads of departments, lecturers, teachers and public leaders.
