Reacting to the comment made by the CLP leader Tokheho on the statement of the state chief minister on 6th RoP, the NPF has said that the government’s action was in line with the laid down system (i.e once in every 10 years) which has been maintained accordingly.
NPF Central vice president, press bureau, T. L. Merry in a statement said neither the chief minister, nor the Government has done any injustice to the government employees of Nagaland in particular and their dependents in general.
The NPF said that the CLP leader questioning the credibility of minister for power, Doshehe, by citing the Association of Power Engineers Nagaland (APEN)’s demand for appointment and increase of field staffs, was “baseless.”
The NPF said the chief minister had admitted that Nagaland, was dependent on New Delhi for all developments and as such, sanction for enhancement of posts needed for the various departments goes with it as well for the financial involvements.
Coming out in support of the government, the NPF said right from day one of the DAN coalition and Rio taking over the reins of the government in Nagaland, the DAN has left no stone unturned in the effort to survey and bring about widening avenues of employment opportunities for the youths wherein thousands have benefited.
It said that the DAN government was doing a mammoth job in bringing about achievements vis-à-vis ushering in peace, development, beautification and modernization of Nagaland.
