Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) as part of state government’s programme of ‘Year of Entrepreneur’ will select 100 potential entrepreneurs under Mokokchung district.
The entrepreneur scheme sponsored by the state government is being initiated by MCCI.
Disclosing this at a press conference on Saturday at its office, MCCI informed that total of 100 educated unemployed youths will be selected from the district to undergo training for entrepreneurship.
A candidate should be between the age of 21-35 years with minimum educational qualification of 10+2, must be a resident of Mokokchung district and should have willingness to set up enterprise in Mokokchung. MCCI will have a briefing for applicants on April 28, 9 a.m at auditorium of Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School for preparing preliminary business plan.
MCCI will scrutinize business plans along with candidate’s profile and shall be ranked in A, B & C categories.
The ‘A’ category candidates shall be picked up for entrepreneurship development program. Selected entrepreneurs will attend interactive workshop on development and entrepreneurship during Moatsu cum road show program where eminent personalities will attend the workshop as resource persons.
MCCI also added that exhibition stalls during Road Show will be solely done by entrepreneurs. First prize winners will be selected for National Expo, second place winners will be taken to north East Expo and third placed winners will be selected for state level expos like Hornbill festival etc.
