Notes of gratitude

NATC: Niuland Adhoc Town Council (NATC) has expressed gratitude to state chief minister Neiphiu Rio, NPF president Dr. Shurozelie Lizietsu, MP Rajaya Sabha Khekiho Zhimomi and Managing director Nagaland State cooperative Bank (NSCB) for the proposal to set up NSCB branch in Niuland Sub- division. A press release issued by NATC chairman informed that meeting of NATC, NGOs and GBs union was held in April 24 where it welcomed the step taken by the government to set up NSCB branch in Niuland Sub-division.
NPF unit Kiphire: Minister R&B, Kaito Aye inaugurated the newly constructed PMGSY road on April 19. In this regard, the NPF unit Kiphire has appreciated the minister for taking up the “hardest and risky journey” to Thanamir village to inaugurate the newly constructed road and also appreciated the initiative taken by parliamentary secretary, CAWD, Torechu. The unit also expressed gratitude to the DAN government for their concern for people of Thanamir, the main passage to Saramati trekking.
Seyochung village: GB of Seyochung village, V Shivito Yepthomi on behalf of Itovi village new citizens has expressed gratitude Head GB Village council for receiving the citizens with open arms. GB expressed gratitude for kind gesture and said that they have resolved to cooperate with all neighbouring villages in order to bring about peace and harmony along with all round development.
NPF: NPF 16 Pfutsero AC has expressed gratitude to DAN government under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and urban development minister Dr Shurozelie Lizietsu for appointing MK Mero as commissioner secretary in IPR and NRE department. The NPF 15 Pfutsero AC also congratulated MK Mero on his promotion and prayed that God grant him good health and wisdom in serving the public.
KVC: Kidima Village Council has expressed gratitude to former NPCC president and MLA K.V. Pusa for rendering his services to the people of Kidima. In his inauguration of the Kidima Sub-Centre on April 12, Pusa donated 5 lakhs 10 thousand and 1 lakh towards the village council and women society respectively for development. The village council has also gratified HoD of Health and Family Welfare for sanctioning Rs. 4 lakhs 87 thousand to VHC for construction of the sub centre. It also thanked CMO Kohima for providing with necessary equipments for the newly constructed centre.
KBC: Rev A M Sheipa pastor Lapa Lampong Konyak Baptist Church (KBC), Tizit, Mon district on behalf of the public of the area expressed gratitude to Dr. Arenla DMO Mon, Nyemphong MI and NVBDCP staff of Tizit for distributing sufficient insecticide treated bed nets to every household and also for conducting mobile malaria camp and distribution of free anti-malarial drugs on April 19 as part of ‘anti malaria month 2010’, and the department for spraying DDT in the area.
CTAC: Chetheba Town Adhoc Committee (CTAC) has expressed gratitude to G.Kaito Aye, minister for road and bridges and Chotisuh Sazo, parliamentary secretary, social welfare and women development carpeting 1 ½ road stretch from Chetheba town to 5th NAP Chetheba, St. Andrew’s High School and 111Bn E Coy BSF Chetheba. The committee also thanked Colonel.K.S Malladi Commander 15 BRTF and Sailendra Kumar OC.89 RCC Border Roads Organization.
VEC: The Village Education Committee (VEC), Liphanyan has expressed gratitude to chief minister Neiphiu Rio, education minister, state mission authority, commissioner and secretary school education, director school education and to all responsible for upgrading the Government Primary School Liphanyan to middle school level. The VEC further expressed that with the upgradation of the school it would not only benefit the village but the Ralan area as a whole in the field of education.
SVC: Sunglup Village Council (SVC) has expressed gratitude to government of Nagaland, Bio-Resource Nagaland mission director, Moa Toshi Longkumer and Bio-Resource Wokha district in-charge, Orenthung Odyuo for selecting Sunglup village for Bio-Resource Mission Project. Council and beneficiaries have also appreciated Bio-Resource Wokha district in-charge for conducting training on cultivation & development of Agar on April 6 at Tourist Lodge, Wokha.
KTCN: Kachari Tribal Council Nagaland (KTCN) has expressed gratitude to DAN government under the leadership of state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio for appointing its member, Raj Kumar Paira Mech as an advisor to Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC). Council also extended gratitude to minister for Urban Development, Dr. Shurhozelie; Rajya Sabha MP, Khekiho Zhimomi; Dimapur 3 A/C MLA Azheto Zhimomi; and DC Dimapur, Maong Aier for giving opportunity to a member of Kachari community to serve the people of Dimapur.
Lamhai: Lamhai Village Development Board (VDB) and Village Council (VC) under Peren district have informed that four culverts were constructed at the village circular road under NREGA programme. The VDB and VC have expressed gratitude to DRDA Peren district project coordinator, programme officer and JE for providing hume-pipes, cements and sand from NREGA general fund for construction of culverts and further expressed hope that the department would provide materials in future as well.
DMC: Dimapur Municipal Council advisory members have expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Dr. Shurhozelie, T.R Zeliang, Azheto Zhimomi and Khekiho Zhimomi for appointing them in the advisory member of DMC. The new advisory members in a press note while appealing for co-operation, assured its denizens that they would faithfully carry out their assignment and to bring changes in various field within the DMC.
CBC: The Chudi Baptist Church (CBC) has expressed gratitude to Renben Jami, deputy director Land Resource and Vanjamo Ngullie, DPO Land Resource Wokha for contributing two wheelers towards the Church.
VEC Tokiye: The Village Education Committee (VEC), Tokiye has expressed gratitude to DIS Aghunato, Kakugha S. Rotokha for inaugurating Government Primary School (GPS) at Tokiye village on January 16.
VEC Achikuchu: The Achikuchu Village Education Committee (VEC) has expressed gratitude to Kakugha S. Rotokha, DIS Aghunato for redeploying S. Prasad, science teacher who was transferred to Hoshepu village with post. Further, requested the education department to redeploy the remaining 13 teachers who were transferred with post.
NPF: NPF central youth wing, representatives to the central team from Dimapur and on behalf of minority communities have expressed gratitude to Dr. Shurhozelie, president NPF; Neiphiu Rio, chief minister; H. Khekiho Zhimomi, member of parliament (Rajya Sabha); Azheto Zhimomi, advisor Sericulture and Cooperation and chairman DPDB Dimapur district and all NPF rank from Dimapur district for inducting Atovi Zhimomi, convenor Legal Cell central youth wing NPF and Mahesh Agarwal and Raj Kumar Paira from the minority communities and other members in the newly constituted advisory board of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC). Further congratulated members of advisory board of DMC and also expressed hope that they would live to the expectations of the people of Dimapur, NPF party and DAN government.
LWWS: The president and members of Likya Women Welfare Society (LWWS), Bhandari town have expressed gratitude to Col. R.C. Katoch and Major S.R. Choudhory 41 Assam Rifles Wokha for their valuable help to enable the society members to undergo exposure tour to Guwahati from March 22 to 25.
NGTC: Nagaland Garo Tribal Council (NGTC) has congratulated chief minister of Meghalaya Mukul M. Sangma on being elected as 21st chief minister. The council conveyed best wished for his successful completion of tenure as chief minister and that he would work for peace and all round developments for the state of Meghalaya and Garos.
Naghuto (Old) village: GBs and elders of Naghuto (Old) village have congratulated first women DC of Mokokchung Lithrongla G. Chishi of Naghuto (Old) village. The GBs have expressed hope that the district would be improved though the new DC.
PSC: Phom Students Conference (PSC) has expressed gratitude to Department of Under-Developed Area (DUDA) for conducting career guidance seminar on public and private sector at Tamlu Town on April 14 through which the students’ community immensely benefited. PSC also thanked resource persons B. Henok EAC Chumukedima and Maongla Yaden Ph.D, Scholar JNU Delhi for their contribution towards the upliftment of the Phom students community.
