Rajya Puraskar testing camp

Rajya Puraskar testing camp was conducted from State Training Center Nerhema from April 22 to 25. Altogether 66 Guides and 46 Scouts participated in the 4 days camp from Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung districts along with their respective Scouts & Guides Captain.
The selected Scouts & Guides qualifying training in the camp would be given Rajya Puraskar Award by Governor of Nagaland, also the chief patron of Nagaland Bharat Scouts & Guides.
The chief guest for the camp fire was Marlyn Sale, Retd. State Secretary and SOC (G) who exhorted the campers and the officials at Nerhema STC for their tireless effort in conducting the testing camp.
Sale also said that, the Scouts & Guides of our State were second to none and said during her tenure she has come across many Scouters & Guiders excelling in their activities conducted both in the State and National levels and brought laurels from the state in many disciplines.
She said Nagas were gifted with many Scouts & Guides activities inherited from our culture.
Earlier the meeting was chaired by Thsaropela A.D.O.(G) and welcome address by Medosenuo and vote of thanks by Apollo Scout Master.
