Kohima mass social work

Mass social work in Kohima will be conducted on May 1from 7 a.m to 9 a,m. The social work is organized by Kohima Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship, Kohima Sanitation Club, Youth-Net and other NGOs and district administration ahead of sanitation rally that is to be held in state capital on May 4.
The rally is organized by Clean Up Kohima organizing in partnership with Kohima pastors’ Fellowship, CCDU PHED, YouthNet, Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Kohima Municipal Council, Kohima Village Council, Kohima Village Students Union and Kohima District Sanitation Club.
All the Colonies/Wards have been requested to cooperate and actively participate in cleaning their respective areas. KMC administrator Alun Hangsing informed all colonies/ward that are especially on the stretch of National Highway 39 & 61 to mainly concentrate in the main highways apart from their respective colonies as per the area distribution mentioned as -HS junction to Marcofed gas agency-Ward no 1. High School; Marcofed gas agency to Tinpatti-Ward no.2.Bayavü; Tinpati to Old Tata parking- Ward no.3 North block; Old Tata parking to Razhü point-Ward no.4.Naga bazaar; Razhü point to Ao Church-Ward no.6 D.Block; Razhü point to Viliethie complex-Ward no. 7. Daklane; Viliethie complex to Dzieduo market-Ward no. 8.New Market; Dzieduo Market to Paramedical Bridge-Ward no.10.Hospital; Ao Church to PWD junction-Ward no.9.Midland; PWD junction to Classic Island-Ward no. 11.PWD; Classic Island to PHQ-Ward no.19.PR Hill; PHQ point to South point Market-Ward no.12. Upper Chandmari; Southpoint Market to Dzüvirü-Ward no.14 Porterlane; Dzüvürü to Custom office-Ward no.15.A.G; Custom office to Lierie-Ward no.16. Lierie.
