HSLC & HSSLC results out

A total of 10,725 candidates (58.19%) out of 18,431 were declared qualified in the HSLC examination 2010 as per results declared by the Nagaland Board of School Education.
In the HSLC 5565(66.5%) out of 9198 males and 5160(55.88%) out of 9233 female candidates who appeared were declared qualified.
Omegali of Stella Higher Secondary School Kohima with 92.67% (566) headed the list of the 50 with highest marks in the HSLC exam. K.S.Arun of A.G.HSS Dimapur with 91.67% and aggregate of 550 marks was in second place.
Four candidates with 91.33% were in third place with 548 aggregate marks.

According to the NBSE notification 6136 (65.14%) out of 9420 candidates passed the HSSLC(Arts), while 958(76.46%) out of 1253 passed the HSSLC(Commerce) and 1360 (76.75%) out of 1772 passed the HSSLC(Science) examinations.
In HSSLC (Arts) Theja Lhoukho of Mezhür HSS Kohima with 81% and aggregate of 486 marks headed the list of ten scoring highest marks. (Details in Supplementary page-6). In HSSLC (Commerce) Salma Khan of Christian HSS Dimapur with 87.5% and 525 marks was the topper among ten others. In HSSLC(Science),Debashis Choudhury of Pranab Vidyapith HSS Dimapur topped with 86.1% and aggregate mark of 517 out of ten scoring highest marks.
