YAA on YTC resolution

DIMAPUR: Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA) the apex student body of Yimchungrü community has supported Yimchunger Tribal Committee’s resolution no 9 on banning the establishment and creation of new organisation or region within Yimchungrü’s jurisdiction. YAA has also appealed the Yimchungrü to follow YTC’s resolution adopted during its 9th general session at Pungro town pertaining to the banning of cutting and supplying of ‘fanta’ and burning of forest in order to maintain ecological balance.

Felicitations

WAYO: Western Angami Youth Organization (WAYO) has congratulated new team of AYO for tenure 2010-2013 led by Khrielievi Chusi-President, Er. Neisavotuo Sachü-general secretary and Vizoto Kin –treasurer and other various dignitaries. WAYO also wished the team to have mutual understanding and hoped that the new team will do everything with new vision and hoped that will uplift the youth in the right prospect.
REB: Rural Employment Bureau (REB) Peren has congratulated Muthingnyuba Sangtam and Vandanshan Lotha on being promoted to additional director and joint director respectively for Employment & Craftsmen Training, Nagaland. Bureau staffs expressed hope that under their guidance, the department would steer ahead with innovative plans/strategies for development and expansion of activities with support from the state government & allied departments particularly for employment/self-employment.

Condolence messages

BTSU: Bhandari Town Students’ Union (BTSU) has mourned the demise of N.Longchenthung Odyuo on April 24 at Dimapur and conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for solace and comfort at the hour of grief.
DCC Kiphire: District Congress Committee (DCC) Kiphire has condoled the demise of Onentsungla Hopongkyu, mother of K. Asangba Sangtam who passed away on April 16 at Mokokchung. Stating that late Onentsungla was a gifted mother who devoted her life for her children’s up-bringing and a source of inspiration to all, the DCC further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NASU: Niuland Area Students’ Union (NASU) has expressed sadness over the demise of its organizing secretary. H. Khukuto Achumi who passed away on April 24. Stating that his dedication for the upliftment of NASU would be remembered, union further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NASA: Niuland Area Sports’ Association (NASA) has condoled the sudden and untimely demise of late Khukhuto H. Achumi, a B.A. 3rd Year student, of Hevikhe village under Niuland on April 24 last. NASA stated that late Khukhuto was a dynamic student leader and a talented sportsperson, and extended valuable service in various capacities for the welfare of the students under Niuland sub-division.
LASU: The Longmatra area students union has expressed shock over the demise of its pioneer lt. Lenthuro Hd GB of Longmatra town who expired on April 25. In a release the LASU stated that he was the founding member of LASU. His initiative, determination and active role towards the union will always remain an inspiration to the student’s community in particular.

TYO grateful

DIMAPUR: Tsumang Youth Organization (TYO) has expressed gratitude to Tsumang citizens, special officer to CM Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe, Wokha District Football Association, old timers’ club, KHE chairman Likhao Humtsoe, guest players and well wishers for their support towards TYO team at the ongoing KSU Martyrs’ Trophy.
