DAA observes six hours auto strike

The Diphu Auto Rickshaw Association (DAA) on Friday observed a six hour strike to vent their anguish against the dastardly killing of Govind Tisso, a young auto driver of Diphu town by unknown miscreants last week.
It may be recalled that dead body of Govind Tisso was recovered from Nailalung on the morning of April 22 by local police, the DAA members while calling for quick arrest of all those involved in this heinous crime decided not to ply for six hours beginning from 5 AM to 11 AM.
Lots of people who solely depend on autos faced alots of troubles.
Govind Tisso, a youthful energetic Karbi boy, was butchered under mysterious circumstances. Sources said that he had purchased a new auto few days back.
Meanwhile the Karbi Anglong District Youth Congress Committee, the So Mindar Karbi Amei, KSA etc. have strongly denounced the brutal assassination of Govind Tisso, these socio political houses have demanded exemplary punishment of the criminals who carried out the crime.
