WSTH special fellowship held at DSBC

A fellowship for Sumi women married to other tribes/communities was organized by Western Sumi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) on April 30 at Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church (DSBC) under the theme “you portray the image of our community”.
According to a press note, more than one thousand delegates from entire Western Sumi participated in the programme. Rev. Dr. Z. K. Rochill, auxiliary secretary BSI Dimapur was the speaker who spoke on the theme of the programme and also read out scriptures from Bible and enthused the gathering to possess moral values of life. He further said a woman should be a source of strength and righteousness for her husband and family. Also speaking on the occasion, Hushili Sema, secretary Women Development and Women Commission, government of Nagaland said women should possess influential power in order to keep her family in the atmosphere of good values of life. She also reminded the gathering that the religion and social activities should be parallel.
Further, Nihokhu area STH led the praise and worship, Katoni Achumi, chairperson STH Dimapur chaired the fellowship and Nishela, assistant general secretary WSTH acted as secretary of the programme. Hotoli, women leader Thilixu Baptist Church said the invocation while Dr. Hetoni, women leader DSBC gave the benediction. Welcome address was delivered by Vihuli, chairperson WSTH and STH DEE presented special number. Tinaka and Shikali read scriptures from the Bible.
