KSU warns shopkeepers dealing with hazardous items

The Kandinu Students’ Union (KSU) conducted a surprise checking on sale of tobacco products (Gutkha) and expiry goods within its jurisdiction on May 22 and caught huge quantities of ‘Gutkhas’ and other essential commodities that have been expired. In a press communiqué Khuchilo Kath, information and publicity secretary and A. Nathan Kath, secretary general Kandinu Students’ Union has warned to take serious action against those shopkeepers dealing with such hazardous items as it posed a serious threat to students’ community and the public in general.
Further, union has appealed to general public to extend cooperation towards the students’ community in dealing with the menace.
