ANSTA Bhandari clarifies report

Reacting to press statement issued by Amos Odyuo, president KLRSO on May 25 in local dailies, the All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA), Bhandari unit clarified that the association only expressed unhappiness since teachers who performed ‘herculean’ tasks by attending various trainings and programmes of state and central government besides their normal class room teaching have been targeted and particularized in their previous report.
In a press communiqué Rhonthung Ezung president ANSTA Bhandari unit said, the association was not against the union and was not trying to sabotage their resolution in any manner. “Since every teacher is a faithful member of our family protecting the irregular or sincere teacher by the association does not arise”, the communiqué stated.
ANSTA Bhandari unit further appealed to KLRSO to take up and fight for the important issues such as ‘educate and motivate the communities for the active participation, cooperation and contribution towards the progress of school, redeployment of teachers transferred to other places along with post, deployment of teacher from schools those have surplus teachers since many schools are run by single teacher and almost 80% schools do not have required staff, creation of more teacher post for the area and appointment of sufficient administrial staff in DIS office which at present was manned by single LDA and UDA to look after 71 schools and others.
