Mao orgs, NPF for early peace talks

A meeting of public leaders and Mao Frontal Organizations with members of the Naga Parliamentarian Forum (NPF) represented by former MP Mani Charenamei, former ministers Benjamin Banee, L. S John and S. P Henry and former MLA Henry Paotei was held at the Badminton Stadium, Punanamei under the aegis of Mao Hoho on Friday.
The meeting resolved to extend undivided support to the Indo-Naga Peace talks and urged the Government of India to expedite the peace process and bring about an early and amicable solution.
It also urged for immediate withdrawal of the Manipur State Armed forces from Mao Gate and other hill districts of Manipur at the earliest and to let Thuingaleng Muivah visit his birthplace without any prejudice.
