DC Mokokchung seeks public co-operation

The district administration Mokokchung has sought cooperation and support from the public for the successful conduct of 1st phase census of India 2010. The administration has requested the residents of Mokokchung to restrict and regulate letting out of dogs in the open to ensure safety for the census officers as in the entire period of census operation, enumerators/supervisors will be canvassing door to door.
According to official bulletin, deputy commissioner Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi along with other officials are also inspecting all administrative circle and villages in the district to ensure that the census work is carried out successfully.
