Common Facility Centre (CFC) building at Wokha village was inaugurated on May 29 with minister for agriculture, Dr. Chumben Murry as chief guest and Nagaland beekeeping honey mission & land resource and development additional director, Mhathung Yanthan as guest of honour.
Addressing the occasion, Dr. Murry urged people, particularly village beekeeping committee (VBKC) to produce quality honey so as to compete with other honey producing villages in the state. The minister also assured his support to beekeepers through the department. Meanwhile, the guest of honour appreciated VBKC Wokha for carrying out their work in constructing the CFC building which, he stated was a first of its kind in Nagaland.
Others who spoke at the function included VBKC chairman, Nlumo Murry, committee members Rev. M.C. Kithan and Likao Murry.
