Reacting to a news item “Bhandari town students union (BTSU) on irregular employees” that appeared in local dailies, junior engineer (Electrical) Bhandari, Er. N.R. Lotha has clarified that Bhandari section covered an area consisting of 37 villages where junior electrical engineer with two staff without department office covered the entire area.
Er. N.R. Lotha said that she was on duty outside Bhandari town to supervise the ongoing RGGVY works at Yanmhon and Changpang circle when BTSU conducted the surprise checking of offices at ADC Bhandari headquarters on May 18 and 19.
Meanwhile, Er. N.R. Lotha appreciated the union for realizing the need of electrical department office building and SDO (Electrical) post at Bhandari town, and appealed to BTSU on behalf of the department to cooperate in finding a suitable site for the office. Further, she also appealed for checking the line obstruction caused by hooking/looping and by plantation of trees, for proper/uninterrupted power supply in the section.
